Dave purchased The Whittemore Co. in 2001 and is its fourth owner since the company’s founding in 1918. He has more than 50 years of manufacturing industry experience. These include 6 years as a tool/mold maker, 13 years as a sales and technical representative and 11 years as an executive manager for an industrial distributor. Dave also takes pride in being a family man and has been married since 1983. Besides his wife, Marianne, his family includes two married daughters, their husbands, four granddaughters, and a grandson. Dave and his family reside in a western suburb of Chicago. In his leisure time, Dave enjoys family time, riding his bicycle, exercising, golf and traveling.
