General Broach offers as wide a range of broaching tool services to
the metalworking industry. It begins with the recognized talents of
experienced design engineers operating the newest CAD and internally
developed software programs. The responsibility of General Broach
engineers is to assure customer satisfaction throughout the entire
process of creating, producing and using our broaches. We provide
this commitment by making the General Broach in-house staff of
engineers available for consultation every step of the way. This
simplifies your broach application concerns because you rely on our
experts to help guide you through the entire process, even when the
broaches are at work on your shop floor. |
BROACH MACHINE DIVISION

General Broach specializes in designing and building
broaching systems dedicated to helping industry achieve optimum
productivity. These systems include tooling, fixtures, controls and
all accessory equipment.
These systems are
highly versatile in meeting all broaching needs and integrated
production requirements, and can be supplied to accommodate a wide
variety of internal and external cutting applications.
Remanufacturing and
Retrofitting
Our team of engineers and craftsmen incorporate
the latest technology into previously built broaching machines of
all makes, actually improving performance and characteristics to
better-than-new levels…from overhauling, to original specifications,
to advanced computer controls. We can remanufacture your existing
equipment, supply a machine completely remanufactured and tooled, or
in some instances, provide a remanufactured machine along with a
supply of broached parts, and take your existing machine in trade,
thereby eliminating breaks in your supply continuity.

EDM DIVISION
|
General Broach pioneered blind spline
broaching technology and continues to lead the industry. These
specialized broaches precisely cut either external or internal
shapes on blind surfaces that have flanges or protrusions which
prevent traditional broach cutting tools from passing over or
through them.
AIRCRAFT BROACH DIVISION
General Broach is the leader in the
design and manufacturing of aerospace tooling. No other broach
company in the world can offer the same level of design services,
capability and manufacturing capacity.
General Broach has equipped our six
design engineers with 3D UGS to meet the design requirements for the
aerospace industry. General Broach can take your 3D part model
and design tooling to effectively broach it whether it is a turbine
disc or rotor blade.
General Broach has several new,
precision CNC grinding machines to hold profile tolerances to within
.0002". Combine these with employees who have hundreds of
combined years of grinding experience; General Broach is the
company to trust with your next project.
After your tools are completed, we can
verify the form the tool will produce by broaching a carbon coupon
and verifying the form on our new J & L Epic 30 optical comparator.
We can also scan the profile of the coupon on our Leitz PMM.

prestigious CSMC Supplier Certification for Pratt & Whitney for "Slotter,
Dovetail, Semi-finisher and Finisher Fir Tree" form broaches.
